84° PHIN Temperature Driven Coffee Packaging System
84° PHIN is a coffee packaging system built around the idea of temperature as identity.
Rather than treating hot and cold coffee as separate products, the brand explores how a single visual language can adapt across brewing styles and drinking moments.
At the centre of the system is Phin, a small mascot inspired by the coffee filter ritual. Instead of changing dramatically between flavours, Phin’s posture and movement shift subtly depending on the coffee type and temperature.
The hot range introduces the core colour-coded pouch system, where each blend shares the same structure while maintaining its own character.
The cold brew extension translates the identity into a glass bottle format. Cold Brew Black is defined by smooth, wave-inspired movement and deeper tones that reflect the clarity and strength of the brew.
Cold Brew Milk softens the system further through a cooler accent colour and an abstract foam cloud motif, representing a calmer, creamier drinking experience.
Across all formats, the packaging keeps typography, hierarchy, and layout consistent while allowing colour, illustration, and motion to express flavour and temperature.
The result is a scalable packaging system where character, colour, and motion work together to build a cohesive brand world.
