Bordelago Craft Beer

Bordelago is a craft beer packaging system conceived for a Chilean brewery located at the foot of the Osorno Volcano.

The design draws inspiration from the dramatic landscape of southern Chile and the region’s German brewing heritage. A unified visual structure supports 10 beer varieties across two formats (bottle and can), using a fixed compositional band and bespoke illustrations that integrate local flora, fauna and narrative motifs.

Color coding and illustrative foregrounds facilitate rapid recognition while preserving coherence within the overall system. The system balances consistency and variation, reinforcing brand identity in both retail and direct-to-consumer contexts. The illustrations serve not only as decorative elements but as narrative triggers that communicate character and place, strengthening the connection between product, territory and cultural resonance.
