This is a baijiu product from Guangxi, China, called “Qimei Ginkgo.” The liquor is made using the fruit from thousand-year-old ginkgo trees that grow in Guilin, Guangxi. Ginkgo fruit is highly nutritious and commonly consumed in China. Many baijiu products on the market claim to use ginkgo as an ingredient, but most are produced by simply soaking ginkgo fruit in alcohol. While this method is cheaper, it can damage the fruit’s nutritional properties.

In contrast, this baijiu is developed using high-quality ginkgo fruit and brewed through a fermentation process without any additives, even though the production cost is higher. To highlight the uniqueness of the product, the bottle is designed with a ginkgo-leaf-shaped cap, allowing consumers to instantly associate the liquor with its key ingredient.
