Vinum Novum – The Art of Talha
Located in the heart of Alentejo, Honrado Vineyards revives a winemaking tradition that has remained virtually unchanged for more than two thousand years: Vinho de Talha. This collection—White, Red, and Palhete—is a tribute to the ancient Roman practice of fermenting grapes in large clay amphorae.
Its visual identity is rooted in the handcrafted essence of the process. In a world of industrial precision, Honrado Vineyards celebrates the beauty of imperfection. Every packaging element reflects the raw, organic, and tactile nature of human touch—offering a glimpse into the cellar, where clay, sweat, and patience shape each wine.
Honouring the cultural soul of Alentejo, the labels incorporate verses from Cante Alentejano, the region’s traditional polyphonic singing, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. The lyrics flow across the paper, connecting the wine in the bottle to the voices of the land.
