Quinta no Valle da Estrada – Douro Colheita

Rooted in the steep slopes of the Baixo Corgo in Portugal’s historic Douro Valley, Quinta no Valle da Estrada is an estate where winemaking tradition runs deep. The brand was established in 2017, but the estate itself carries a heritage as rugged, textured, and timeless as the region’s schist soils.

The packaging design was conceived to reflect this profound connection between the land, its history, and the craft of winemaking.

A deckled, torn-paper upper edge gives the label an artisanal, hand-finished quality, evoking the raw, rugged character of the Douro landscape.

The word Colheita is rendered in an elegant, warm gold foil script that catches the light beautifully, contrasting with the crisp, contemporary typography used for the estate’s regional designation.

The background of the label features a subtle, flowing debossed pattern inspired by the estate’s terraced vineyards and the winds that sweep through the valley. It invites touch, offering a tactile experience before the bottle is even opened.

Prominently placed at the top, the family crest pays direct tribute to the historic stone emblem that still stands guard over the estate today, bridging the estate’s enduring legacy with the bottle in your hand.
