McGREGOR Reserv
In the kitchen or the cage, McGregor makes meat tender the same way – fast.
Curator’s Insight
What makes McGregor Reserve work structurally is the tension it manufactures between craft and combat. The kraft board substrate reads artisanal butcher, while the engraved portrait illustration and bold compressed typography pull in the opposite direction — confrontational, stadium-scaled. The “Fighter’s Choice” badge in high-contrast red functions less as a label and more as a pressure point, creating visual hierarchy that mimics the urgency of a corner man’s instruction. The window tray isn’t incidental either; displaying the raw chop in full view shifts the packaging from brand spectacle to product confidence, letting the marbling close the sale. It’s a package that understands its retail environment: shelf-facing drama first, credibility second.
