CALM is a mattress brand created to challenge the conventions of the sleep industry.
For years, mattress brands relied on the same visual language: blue and purple palettes, images of people sleeping under starry skies, retail spaces that felt like warehouses, and communication focused almost exclusively on discounts. Que Cálido Studio saw an opportunity to rethink the category from the ground up.
The strategy began with a simple but disruptive idea: instead of talking about the eight hours people spend sleeping, CALM would focus on the sixteen hours they spend awake. That’s why it became the first mattress brand to say “good morning.”
The project included brand strategy, naming, visual identity, product and packaging design, architectural design, art direction, and content development. Every touchpoint was designed around clarity, simplicity, and functionality, creating a frictionless experience that made buying a mattress feel approachable and enjoyable.
A bold yellow identity broke away from category conventions, while the packaging and communication system helped transform a complex purchasing decision into something direct, warm, and easy to understand.
The result was a distinctive brand that redefined how sleep is communicated and helped position CALM as one of the most recognizable mattress brands in Argentina, proving that good rest isn’t only about sleeping better; it’s about having a better day.
