CLOUD MELT is a conceptual lip balm brand inspired by the lightness of clouds, airy mousse textures, and nostalgic childhood memories. It was developed as a playful interpretation of daily lip care, shifting it from a routine product into a small emotional experience centered around softness, joy, and ease.
The identity is built around soft organic shapes, glossy bubble-like forms, and a pastel-driven color system. These elements work together to create a sense of lightness and fluidity, where each visual detail reinforces the feeling of airiness and comfort. The brand language avoids rigidity, instead focusing on smooth transitions, rounded geometries, and subtle visual play.
At the core of CLOUD MELT is the idea of emotional softness. The product is positioned not only as a functional lip balm but as a sensory object that carries mood and atmosphere. It evokes a sense of carefree presence, similar to the feeling of floating or weightlessness, translated into color, form, and material perception.
The visual system extends this concept through glossy surfaces, diffused highlights, and pastel gradients that resemble soft atmospheric states. Rather than referencing literal objects, the identity builds an abstract emotional environment where texture and light define perception.
CLOUD MELT is designed as a small moment of happiness embedded into everyday routines. A product that turns simple care into a light, playful, and visually soothing experience.
Curator’s Insight:
What stands out here is the restraint in the color story, three distinct fruit-inspired shades that still feel like part of one cohesive family. The spherical caps do a lot of the storytelling on their own, their scale and gloss finish give the bottles a toy-like, tactile quality before you even read the label. It’s a nice example of how packaging can communicate a feeling (lightness, softness) through form alone, without leaning on illustration or pattern to do the work.
