VELVET

VELVET is an ultra-luxury towel brand made at a family mill in northern Italy, sold direct and built around a single idea: the towel should feel like the reward at the end of the day, not the afterthought. The packaging carries that weight before the product is ever touched.

We kept the system quiet and let the material do the talking. The box is wrapped in a custom-developed grain – a tight, tactile emboss in the spirit of the great maisons, but drawn specifically for VELVET, so the texture reads under the hand before the eye catches up. The wordmark is blind-debossed into the lid. The V is die-cut clean through the board, and a concealed magnetic closure gives the open a single, weighted gesture – the small ceremony of a lid that pulls itself shut.

The palette is pulled straight from the towels: the deep green of Undergrowth, the terracotta-and-cobalt of Coldfire. No stock photography, no gloss. The first thing you read is the promise the brand rests on: Soft on one side. Dry on the other.
