Concept

The Betrès ON Summer collection was created to capture the vibrant, energetic spirit of summer. The goal was to design packaging for a range of body and hair mists that would feel refreshing, playful and appealing to a young, dynamic audience. The design also needed to command attention on retail shelves while clearly communicating the product’s moisturising properties, enhanced with provitamin B5.

Design Execution

The structural and graphic design takes advantage of the cosmetic formula’s physical properties. By using a cylindrical bottle made from frosted, semi-transparent PET, the vivid colour of each mist becomes the packaging’s primary background.

This functional transparency is paired with opaque spherical caps in pastel shades, creating a striking colour-blocking effect.

The palettes were strategically selected to evoke distinct summer moods and fragrance profiles: warm sunset orange for Caramel Love, tropical neon pink and mint for Fruity Vibes, and soft yellow with lilac for Sandal Cream.

Typography and Finishes

To balance the boldness of the colours, the design uses clean, minimalist typography. A modern sans-serif typeface ensures legibility while lending the collection a more refined presence within the mass-market cosmetics segment.

The central label block anchors the design, establishing a structured hierarchy that guides the consumer’s eye from the brand name to the fragrance and its specific benefits.

The result is highly photogenic packaging that is practical for everyday use and perfectly aligned with current trends in the cosmetics industry.
