Science & Vulgarisation is my final graduation project, made as a student in graphic design at the École de Condé Nancy.
Science & Vulgarisation shows readers the creativity of researchers, mediators and designers when it comes to sharing scientific knowledge. The book highlights the role and importance of images in the transmission of knowledge. Much more than a simple tool allowing to accompany scientific theories, images are a way to represent, interpret and understand the world. Printed entirely on silver paper, this edition conveys science through the sense of touch. A cache system, present on some pages, gives a didactic and immersive dimension when you read it.
The book is bound in a metallic spiral and has a Silver hot stamping. The fonts in use are Maison Neue and Maison Neue Mono by Milieu Grotesque / Digital Typefoundry.
