It’s a well-known fact that young people and students are very strict when it comes to where they go for lunch. It’s all about the atmosphere. Recognizing this, three visionary friends set out to create an urban eatery that would tick all the boxes: generous portions, a vibrant and inviting space, an open library, and an infectious sense of enthusiasm. Gazi College was born. A place where people would indulge in tasty, affordable meals while immersing into a world of fun and excitement. In fact, it has become a cherished local joint, radiating warmth and hospitality, thanks to a dedicated team that has been working together for two decades.

Now, here’s the coolest part—music is a big deal at Gazi College. They’ve got their very own DJ who spins all those ultimate jams from around the world.

Our task was to create the brand image for Gazi College as an all-day restaurant with a youthful, urban vibe. We wanted something that would catch the eye, something modern and outgoing. We wanted it to speak a language that resonates with happy, lively gatherings where everyone’s got something to say.

We got creative with vibrant colours and a playful pattern of shapes. It’s like a nod to those classic video games or a twist on a fun game of tic-tac-toe. These shapes, they’re a mix of geometric and floral elements, nothing too sharp or edgy. They’re all different, friendly, and oh-so-fun. Black, colourful, or a combination of both, popping up unexpectedly on sandwich wraps, menu headers, and even mingling among the letters. They’re like a sprinkle of excitement that spices up your day.

At Gazi College, it’s all about the fusion of taste and theme. The vibrant theme inspires the colours we use, and those colours bring the shapes to life. It’s like an urban spring that blossoms into a space of innovation, creativity, depth, and sometimes even a touch of controversy.

Curator’s Insight: The first thing that catches my eye is the packaging design. It’s bold, colourful, and playful and somehow it makes you want to pick up a sandwich wrap and see what’s inside. The branding reflects the personality of Gazi College: vibrant, outgoing, and friendly, and on top of that it speaks to the young and young-at-heart, who are looking for something fresh and exciting.
