CHOCOLOCO is a brand of non—standard and contrasting chocolate for those who are looking for a new experience in a combination of sweetness and piquancy, sharpness and exoticism, who are ready for adventures through food and appreciate quality and culture.
Our product is a spicy chocolate that combines traditional Mexican spices with a rich taste of fruits, delicate notes of flowers and cocoa beans from Mexico. CHOCOLOCO brings novelty to the bulk of the sweet flavors of modern chocolate and offers the buyer a unique mix that meets modern taste requirements. This is the embodiment of a bold approach to a classic delicacy, where chocolate becomes not just a dessert, but a way to travel to the heart of Mexican culture.
The main metaphor for the design was the Calavera sugar shard, a symbol of the holiday Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Calavera embodies not only the traditions and customs of Mexico, but also the idea of celebrating life, despite its transience. The skull in the design becomes a bright memorable element that does not cause fear, but on the contrary heats up the consumer’s interest, encourages them to try at least a piece.
Each skull is individual and symbolizes a unique taste, referring to unusual combinations of ingredients: spicy jalapeno pepper and deep coffee flavor, spicy chili and delicate hibiscus flower, bright habanero and juicy mango. The design elements include cheerful, contrasting colors inspired by Mexican art. Small graphic elements in the form of hibiscus flowers, mango and coffee beans refer to the chocolate filling, and small flashes of flame remind that chocolate is still sharp. The design creates a sense of celebration and joy, where every detail emphasizes culture and richness of tastes.
The uniqueness of our chocolate lies in its boldness and desire to combine opposites. We create a product that pushes the boundaries of taste sensations, arousing interest and a desire to explore. CHOCOLOCO is not just chocolate, it is a journey into the world of flavors and cultural heritage encoded in every piece.
