Cretalux AS is a design studio based in Oslo, founded by Line Støtvig and Bjørn Rybakken. Cretalux is Latin for "light chalk," and it originates from an old artist's set of chalk sticks by L & C Hardtmuth, which consisted of six sticks in vibrant, almost fluorescent colors. The name reflects our philosophy – the importance of creating strong, nearly luminous visual expressions, whether for product or corporate identities.
