PHASES
Phases is a health and wellness brand for perimenopause and menopause, built on a quietly radical idea: the partners of women going through menopause are just as much its audience as the women themselves.
The name carries its own irony. When a woman struggles with hormonal shifts, she’s too often dismissed with a shrug, “oh, it’s just her phase.” Phases takes that dismissal and turns it into a name worth reclaiming. It began as an observation about care itself, the quiet, constant labour women pour into their relationships, rarely met with the same effort in return. Phases exists to shift that balance, starting with the person who’s often present but unequipped: a partner who wants to help, but doesn’t know how.
That instinct shapes everything the brand refuses to do. No soft pinks. No pastel palette borrowed from every other women’s wellness shelf. No easy, symptom-first language promising a fix; for better sleep, use xyz. Instead, Phases speaks in informational, empathetic language that names the root cause, not just the symptom; for brain fog, here’s what’s actually happening in your body, and here’s xyz; while its colour palette of red, pink, purple and yellow draws on the intimacy of the body itself, forming patterns inspired by body heatmaps that turn something clinical into something felt.
Even the copy is built to do double duty. Phases speaks directly to partners while naming what she’s going through, “for HER tiredness.” A small shift in address, carrying a larger one in behaviour: a subtle, constant nudge for the men in her life to notice, to ask, to actually help. Because when it comes to menopause, there’s just as much misinformation circling as there is silence, and Phases doesn’t just want to sell a solution. It wants to explain the problem.
