The label design stems from the material itself as a conceptual starting point: a sustainable paper—Tintoretto Gesso Recycled—made from 100% recycled fibers, which not only reduces environmental impact but also inspires a story.

The concept invites us to imagine that—every time someone chooses this paper—something happens deep within the forest. Nature responds. It celebrates. And it begins to dance.

Under this premise, an illustrated universe is constructed in which the forest manifests itself through characters that embody a celebration. A toad and a praying mantis, dressed for the occasion, star in a scene where they dance a waltz—not just any waltz, but The Blue Danube—evoking elegance, harmony, and ritual.

The waltz, with its enveloping and circular movement, becomes the guiding thread of the concept. It alludes to the elegance of gesture, as well as functioning as a metaphor for the cycles of nature: everything turns, transforms, and begins again. Like this paper, which finds new life from what already exists.

The label, then, proposes a poetic perspective that goes beyond the visual. It’s a conceptual nod to the impact of conscious choices.

The result is a piece that connects through emotion, positioning the product within a sensitive, conscious, and deeply memorable universe.

Curator’s Insight

The illustration is rich, but what grounds this label is the logic behind it… the material choice isn’t a footnote, it’s the origin of the entire concept. Starting from recycled paper and building a whole narrative world around what that choice means is a more elegant sustainability argument than any certification stamp could make. The waltz framing also does something clever: it gives the label movement without animation. You can almost hear it.
