Givenchy Gentleman
The Gentleman Fragrance by French fashion label, Givenchy was created in 1974 to emphasize on the sophisticated presence of masculine beauty. With this fragrance being the second oldest scent Givenchy launched for men, I wanted to retain the vintage quality of the product, yet fuse the packaging and experience with the designer’s new gothic, minimalist aesthetic.

I upgraded the packaging as well as the product, to reassure the consumer that this product is well worth the investment. From a simple card-stock box and generic catalog bottle, the packaging is now 3-ply chipboard with inkjet exterior graphics on matte cover, interior inserts upholstered with black velvet, vintage glass bottle, and a complimentary black leaf cigar in a glass tube. The tops to both the fragrance bottle and cigar tube were 3D modeled then printed with the Givenchy logo debossed into the surface.
