Identity and packaging design for a fictive, nordic skin and haircare line called Ótrúlega, with roots from Iceland. The concept is inspired by the nordic bare & plain design mixed with natural colours. Ótrúlega means amazing, as reflected in the products and the identity with the Icelandic geography and inspiration from the northern lights.

What’s Unique?
I think that this project is unique with the fact that the design is so simple, plain but yet intended. When it comes so cosmetic packaging, there is so much information on the packaging that the main focus, which is the product it self, get’s lost on the way. The costumers has so many impressions that one has to take into account. But with this design you can only focus on the truth: the bare design that shows the colours and notes on the products.
