A 100% artisanal granola bar full of superfoods such as cherries, goji berries, mulberries, seeds and various grains.

The company ‘Taart’ originated in 2011 from the kitchen of Restaurant Daalder from Amsterdam. The Spelt Granola Bars are also – without frills or embellishment – 100% handmade in Amsterdam. The company ‘Taart’ began as a supplier of catering and museums such as Van Gogh museum and the Boymans van Beuningen. Nowadays they have entered the retail market and can be found at stores such as Marqt supermarkets and Total gas stations.

In collaboration with design agency Wunderwald MAS has begun developing the design for the packaging. Because the company ‘Taart’ already uses craft paper as wrapping for their cakes, it has been decided to maintain this look. The keywords handmade and pure have guided the main design ideas. Just as The company ‘Taart’ requested, the design represents them so well that it could have been cut and paste from their own story board. The entire design is printed on uncoated paper and this rough surface is in keeping with the concept of raw and natural.
