Artemis Kokkinaki-artstudio was entrusted with the design of the logo, label and packaging of the olive oil, “Pelagros”, a premium-quality, organic extra virgin olive oil from Filippias, Greece.

The challenge was to design a logo, label and packaging that would be unique and distinguishable, expressing simultaneously its superior quality and place of origin.

The logo was inspired by the stork, consistent visitor to the olive groves of the producer and symbol of the city of Filippias. The brand name, Pelagros, is the synthesis of the Greek words for “stork” and “farm” (Pelargos and Agroktima), with its logo a stork that forms both the Greek letter “Φ”, and Latin letter “F”, in a clear, abstract design. The logo complements a strong, playful font.

The result is a logo with a powerful and elegant design which constitutes the centerpiece of the label and the packaging.

In the lower part of the label, a characteristic green stripe states that it is an organic product.
