Prope is a Latin word that in English means “close” and it is the name we decided to give to the new Velenosi winery line of wines.

The project is specifically dedicated to a selection of grapes cultivated in a region neighbouring the winery. That is why we called this special line of wines Prope. To tell this story, we availed ourselves of messengers, rebel angels that alike clouds dissolve in forms and travel free from one territory to the other.

To best represent the angels we used two superimposed papers. The forms arise from the contrasts between materials and colours and cover the bottle like moving clouds. The stylised eyes recall the anthropomorphic traits of the angels’ evanescent faces.
