Raise your glass to Oscar Borghesi, the original vigneron of the Swan Valley Wines property, who lovingly cultivated the vines used to make this wine in the 1940s.

Chenin Blanc was hand-harvested from a single plot’s dry-grown, ungrafted vines and produced using the most ancient method for sparkling wine. Fermentation
was spontaneous and natural, with all bottles hand-disgorged to create a serious drink that is typical of the freshness in granite-derived wines. Concentrated flavours of lemon curd taper to a long and lively finish.

This label sits outside of the Swan Valley Wines and EXTENT ranges as it plays homage to the original, period label to which the vines once served. An ode to the pioneers of the Swan Valley wine region.

What’s Unique?
Simple black and gold inks sit over a pantone cream, referencing the popular EXTENT range with the dieline and striped cream background but paying absolute respect to the original Borghesi label. Care was taken to reflect the original label while still modernising it just enough for today’s market. Printed on paper stock to play to the natural nature of the wine and again reflect the past.
