Costa d’Oro is an Italian family-owned olive oil company. The purpose of this redesign is to refresh a visual style of the company and to familiarize consumers with Italy with the help of olive oil. Metaphor “Italy is in your hands”. Holding a bottle of oil, the consumer gets acquainted with Italy, its features and traditions.

The olive oil market is conservative and many labels have a heavy design. We can see bright and screaming colors dominating on packages. Such conclusions helped to determine the following steps: visual relief and softening of colors. Our primary audience is women. Lightness and air in design works good for this audience.

What’s Unique?
Every region of Italy is famous for its specialties. Therefore, in addition to a brochure with traditional recipes by region, we also introduced a notebook at the back of the label. Tearing off the technical information, you can see additional recipes that are easy to cook and effective in taste.
