Byteable is an online website and mobile app created to adjust the consumers’ views of food while inspiring them to create positive changes to their diet for the good of the planet. Byteable offers a one-time mailing box purchase of low-impact foods that minimally affect the planet.

The “Meat Lover’s Box” offers those who enjoy eating meat, an opportunity to try a variety of meat substitutes in their trial sizes before purchasing larger quantities. The packaging using a hand-lettered typeface to give facts about the sustainability of the products. Using this almost illegible typeface allows for the design to look like an organic pattern from afar, but still convey information when holding the product. This allows for the design to be effective from all distances. Because Byteable’s mission focuses on providing people with education without shame, I wanted to make the facts about foods to be more playful and only show themselves if the viewer really wants to know the information.

What’s Unique?
The packaging is unique due to the design used to convey facts and information throughout.
