Sustainable delivery solution for a global eCommerce audience receiving Walpole’s 2020 Yearbook. The eCommerce boxes were designed to mirror the book’s astrology inspired cover artwork by House of Hackney & Buffalo in black on black. All artwork was embossed and debossed to create a tactile relief yet maintain the book as the hero in the consumer’s unboxing journey.

The interior flap reinforces the box structure to protect the book’s edges and provide the flexibility to hold both a hardcover and softcover. It also acts to increase the recipient’s anticipation before lifting to introduce the colorful cover.

International Direct Packaging (IDP) was responsible for the structural design, art interpretation, and manufacturing of the boxes at IDP’s Indonesian packaging manufacturing factory.

The complete brand story is conveyed without a single ink or drop of glue. The goal was to showcase the next evolution of luxury eCommerce packaging design in the most sustainable manner possible.
