The winery was founded in 2000 in Domokos of the Prefecture of Fthiotida and has managed within 20 years, through global distinctions, and the continuous reliability in the quality of its wines, to have a recognized and important presence in the market.

In 2020, we undertook the overall rebranding of the winery, which included the logo, the corporate identity and its various applications, the redesign of all labels for all varieties of its wines and the design and nomenclature for a new Premium label.

We composed the nomenclature from the location of Gerakli, Fthiotida, where the vineyards are located, and from the deified North wind “Voreas”, who was worshiped locally in antiquity, due to the beneficial north wind for the vineyards, that still arrives today from Mount Othris.

The design of Geraklis Voreas was placed in the center of the label, where it is projected with the special gold foil emboss printing treatment, with the rest of the elements being described perimetrically. The slight “wear” of the gold print emphasizes the handmade character, the extra attention and care in the production of the wine and its 12-month aging in oak barrels. The sense of Premium experience during the wine tasting is further strengthened by the choice of a white paper with a characteristic fabric texture.

Despite the modern techniques in the cultivation of vines and in the process of winemaking, wine production still remains a hands on process, which has its roots 7000 years ago. Taking in account this wine history, in the design of the specific selected proposal, we used the method of hand engraving, and designed an illustration of the “Voreas” deity.

After test printing the engraving on various attempts, it was digitized and refined, carefully keeping the handmade features and “analog imperfections”. That is, the elements that give uniqueness, differentiate it from similar designs and express the earthy, human and handmade side of the winery. Primary characteristics inextricably linked to the cultivation of the selected vines and the vinification of this Premium label.
