We have worked with L’Occitane for years. One day L’Occitane set for Maxipos a challenge of creating a circular rigid box with a lift-off lid as luxury packaging for their 2018 Christmas promotion. Our team was happy with the new project, so the work started immediately.
A 1500mic white lined greyboard with white art paper was used for the main construction of the box and lid, whilst 350gsm cardboard was used for the fitment to hold 4 x 75ml standing shower gels. The box and lid were then printed CMYK and matt lamination applied to all components. Gold foiling was used to accentuate the star artwork on the lid, enhancing the Christmas aesthetic of the box.
We have provided a pre-production sample in the two artwork designs for L’Occitane’s final approval. The client was happy with the result and ordered 25,750 units.
The round Christmas box proved to be a great success for the L’Occitane Christmas promotion.
