Our journey with Pinochio Candy Store started by flipping through the pages of a beloved fairy tale. To create a brand identity and packaging that would transport visitors to a world of wonder and nostalgia, we had to immerse ourselves fully in the enchanting narrative of Pinocchio.

The task at hand was to breathe life into a candy store that resembled a fairy tale, complete with a statue of Gepetto, the master craftsman, and allusions to Jiminy Cricket’s wisdom. Our objective was clear: to make Pinochio Candy Store a place where customers not only indulged in sweets but also embarked on a magical storytelling adventure.

Guided by the story’s essence, we meticulously designed the packaging to reflect the charm of Pinocchio, Gepetto, and Jiminy Cricket. Each package was adorned with whimsical illustrations and featured lines such as “A sweet story to tell” and “Do not lie about nuts,” infusing a touch of magic into every candy selection. Our “chocotool box” showcased handcrafted treats, while “Gepetto handmade caramel popcorn” promised a taste of enchantment. The “Grab it or get a bigger nose” package playfully reminded customers of the consequences of resisting the store’s irresistible offerings.

Our design choices went beyond aesthetics; they were a part of a carefully crafted narrative synthesised from a variety of stories. From Pinocchio’s nose that grew every time he looked at chocolates and ice cream. From Geppetto who changed the wood into chocolate and the glue into candy. From Pinocchio’s school which, instead of notebooks was full of sweets, nougats, cornetts and slushies, from all kinds of miracles, from the Blue Fairy and her magic wand. We approached the brand identity with a systemic methodology. Typography, colour palettes, and packaging were all meticulously chosen to resemble carvings on wood and ensure that every aspect contributed to the immersive fairy tale experience.

In the process, we sculpted a fairy tale world down to the smallest detail, imagining it as if Geppetto himself had breathed life into it. Witnessing this story unfold and captivate the hearts of children and adults alike brought us immense joy.
