People and plants have their roots. In a metaphorical sense, when it comes to humans, we refer to their origin, their ancestors, while in the case of plants, especially vines, roots represent their life, their existence.

Using the term “roots” in viticulture, we mean the very vine plant. In the label design, we aimed to play with the ambiguity of the name. The roots of the vine branches, the Greek Xinomavro variety, and the winemaker’s genealogical tree, tracing back seven generations to this place where vines have been cultivated for six thousand years, all converge in the capital of an ancient column. In short, the image serves as a symbol of connections, heritage, and the continuation of history.
