Libellule – A Wine Label Inspired by Elegance and Harmony

When designing the label for Libellule, a French sweet white wine, my goal was to create an aesthetic that resonates with sophisticated women in their 40s. The name Libellule, meaning dragonfly in French, inspired the core concept of the design.

The label’s distinctive feature is its spiral form, which wraps gracefully around the slender bottle, providing a refined and unique appearance. On the inner side of the label, visible through the bottle, I incorporated delicate dragonfly illustrations. These fluttering dragonflies harmonize with the external design, symbolizing lightness, elegance, and the wine’s sophisticated character.

The spiral design is not merely decorative—it offers an engaging visual and tactile experience that draws immediate attention. By blending modernity with timeless elegance, the label reflects both the high quality of the wine and the refined taste of its audience.

My intention was to craft a label that transcends its functional purpose, creating an artistic and emotional connection with the buyer while complementing the wine’s delicate flavors.
