Riega Tex Mex Seasoning Packets

Riega Foods, one of the nation’s premier spice companies, approached us to redesign their line of organic TEX-MEX seasonings. These packets are used to make amazing tacos, fajitas and guacamole. Once we tried the blends we were blown away by how bold they were. The goal for this line was to depict the flavors as even bigger as the size of Texas.

Bold, vibrant, and unapologetically Tex-Mex, Riega Foods’ redesigned seasoning packets by Whiskey Design erupt with energy. The use of fiery red, playful typography, and illustrated motifs—like guitar avocados, raging bulls, and peppers—evokes a handcrafted, down-home spirit with a modern edge. Each packet is numbered and color-blocked for visual clarity and brand consistency, while punchy taglines and USDA Organic seals add trust and personality. The packaging captures the “bigger than Texas” flavor promise in a bold, shelf-popping way, making spice lovers feel like they’re already in the heart of a fiesta.
