Deer Blood Liquor

Deer Blood Liquor

喜鹊战略

This is a 53% ABV baijiu made with a precious ingredient – deer blood.

In Chinese culture, deer blood is believed to revitalize those who are weak, such as the elderly or people recovering from illness. Young, healthy people traditionally do not drink it.

This liquor uses peptide breakdown technology to extract the essence of deer blood, making it suitable for healthy people as well. According to customer feedback, after drinking just a small cup, warmth quickly spreads through the joints.

This liquor is produced in Jilin(吉林), in northeastern China.

Located at around 40°N, Jilin has bitterly cold winters. Locals enjoy soaking in hot baths and staying warm indoors. In recent years, curious tourists have flocked to Jilin to experience its unique winter – much like people go to Hokkaido to enjoy snowscapes and hot springs.

But when visitors see this liquor on the shelf, it doesn’t feel local.

They don’t see its highlights, and the high alcohol content is too strong for young drinkers. Sales have been mediocre.

After several meetings with our client, we decided to add a 125ml small bottle.

It features lower alcohol content and a light, tipsy feel – making it easier for first‑time drinkers to enjoy. It can also serve as a local specialty gift.

We also added Jilin’s iconic landscape – Changbai Mountain(长白山) – to the packaging.

The snowy scene and galloping deer evoke pure, beautiful nature. This strengthens the liquor’s regional identity – it now looks like a “must‑buy souvenir from Jilin.”

You can even see the texture fired onto the bottle – it’s shaped like the scenery of Changbai Mountain.

If you still don’t know the spirit behind this deer blood liquor, I will turn it into a poem printed on the packaging.

The poem goes something like this:

“This is an ancient craft, a wine made with precious deer blood.

It must use deer from Jilin, harvested at the right time of their growth, without taking their lives – that is our principle.

The blood is precious: one deer yields only three bottles of wine.

We must follow this principle – no deceit, no arrogance.

Only honest business lasts forever.”

Doesn’t it look much better now? Let’s see the result!
