Leggeritos is one of Viterale’s most recognized product lines, known for its light and crispy snacks available in multiple flavors. The challenge was to redesign the packaging system while preserving the brand assets already familiar to consumers, creating a stronger and more contemporary visual identity capable of increasing shelf impact and improving flavor recognition.

The redesign was built around the idea of balancing visual consistency with clear differentiation. A bold black background became the foundation of the packaging architecture, creating a premium and distinctive presence on shelf while allowing each flavor to stand out through vibrant color coding. This strategy not only strengthens product recognition but also creates a cohesive and highly visible product family.

To reinforce flavor communication, a series of handcrafted hatch-style illustrations was developed. Inspired by traditional engraving techniques, these illustrations add texture, authenticity, and sophistication to the packaging while helping consumers quickly identify each variant. The graphic language creates a visual bridge between craftsmanship and quality, enhancing the overall perception of the product.

Beyond aesthetics, production efficiency was also a key consideration. The redesign was developed with printing optimization in mind, allowing the reuse of production resources while maintaining the individuality of each SKU. This approach ensured a balance between visual improvement and manufacturing feasibility.

The result is a packaging system that feels more organized, contemporary, and impactful. Through a carefully designed combination of color, illustration, hierarchy, and structural consistency, the Leggeritos line achieves stronger shelf presence, clearer flavor navigation, and a more valuable brand perception.

A redesign where every detail was designed to communicate flavor before the first bite.
