Sunbase is a sunscreen brand concept designed for both everyday wear and long days outdoors. The idea was simple: create a brand that feels as comfortable sitting next to your skincare as it does in your beach bag.
Most sunscreen brands tend to lean in one of two directions—they either feel too clinical or overly playful. Sunbase was created to sit somewhere in between. Clean, modern, and sporty, while still feeling soft enough to belong in the beauty and skincare space.
The visual identity focuses on bold typography, a bright yet balanced colour palette, and a minimal packaging system that makes the products easy to recognise on the shelf. Each SPF variant is colour-coded to create a cohesive product range while keeping the overall system simple and consistent.
The packaging was designed with clarity in mind. Product information is easy to navigate, the layouts are clean, and every element has room to breathe. Rounded bottles and soft forms reinforce the approachable personality of the brand, giving it a fresh, everyday feel.
Rather than treating sunscreen as something you only reach for on holiday, Sunbase positions it as a daily essential—something people enjoy carrying, displaying, and using as part of their routine.
This project explores how brand identity, packaging design, typography, and colour can come together to create a modern skincare brand that feels timeless, functional, and memorable.
