COOL — When Packaging Becomes a Childhood Companion
COOL is a children’s bath-care brand created around a simple idea: transforming an everyday hygiene routine into a reassuring moment of connection, imagination and play.
At the heart of the identity lies the name itself. The two central “O” letters in COOL become the bear’s eyes, allowing the wordmark, the character and the packaging to form one unified expression. Rather than placing a mascot on the bottle, the bottle becomes the mascot.
Its softly sculpted silhouette evokes a teddy bear without relying on decorative or technically unrealistic elements. The rounded shoulders suggest the ears, the curved body creates a comforting and tactile presence, while the wide flip-top closure remains practical for parents. Every detail was conceived with industrial production in mind, using a blow-moulded HDPE body and a realistic PP closure.
The entire range shares one distinctive bottle mould, strengthening recognition while creating a coherent and economically rational packaging system. Colour becomes the principal navigation tool:
- Powder blue and vanilla for Shampooing doux,
- Aqua mint for Gel douche,
- Blush pink and coral for Bain moussant,
- Lavender for Lait hydratant.
The pastel palette moves the brand away from the loud, overstimulating conventions often associated with children’s products. COOL instead offers a calm, contemporary and gender-neutral visual language that appeals to children while earning the trust of parents.
A continuous wave travels across every bottle, evoking water, softness and movement. In the campaign imagery, delicate foam, translucent bubbles and diffused pastel light extend this visual language into an immersive bathing universe. The foam is treated as a sculptural material, framing the products without overpowering their form.
COOL is more than a collection of children’s toiletries. It is a complete emotional and functional packaging system in which the name becomes a face, the bottle becomes a companion and bath time becomes a shared ritual.
