IGNARDIS – Plum Brandy

Ignardis is a Serbian plum brandy that unites heritage with modern strength. Its name, “warrior of fire,” speaks of a spirit forged in flame and time. The design is bold and ornate with a simple black and light blue color scheme and gold details. Heraldic symbols enrich the design, evoking pride, authenticity, and uncompromising quality.

Curator’s Insight

Most spirits label design stops at the bottle’s shoulder. IGNARDIS extends its crest system onto the cork top, a surface most brands leave blank or brand with a small logo at best. Here it becomes a second seal: the flaming heart set inside a laurel ring, finished to read like a wax stamp on an old document.

That choice matters at the point of use. A bottle sits on a shelf facing outward, but the cork top is only seen at the moment someone opens it, right before pouring. Placing a full heraldic mark there turns an overlooked surface into a small ceremony of authentication, closer to breaking a seal than removing a cap.
