A Story Carved in History

Some stories are written in books. Others are carved in stone.

STORIA was born from a desire to transform the architectural heritage of Ancient Rome in Tunisia into a contemporary expression of design.

Inspired by the impressive Roman monuments that still stand across the Tunisian landscape, particularly the majestic Amphitheatre of El Jem, STORIA celebrates a fascinating chapter of Mediterranean history through an unexpected medium: olive oil packaging.

Rather than simply illustrating the past, the creative ambition was to give history a new physical form.

When the Bottle Becomes Architecture

At the heart of STORIA lies a distinctive design concept: the bottle itself becomes a piece of architecture.

Its vertical glass grooves evoke the rhythm and elegance of ancient Roman columns, creating a sculptural silhouette that recalls the monumental structures of antiquity.

The label continues this architectural narrative through a series of geometric arches inspired by Roman amphitheatres.

Their carefully constructed shapes create a visual dialogue with the bottle’s grooves, producing the illusion of an ancient monument emerging from the packaging.

The result is a design where structure, graphics and storytelling become inseparable.

A Contemporary Interpretation of Roman Heritage

STORIA deliberately avoids the conventional visual codes often associated with heritage-inspired olive oil brands.

Instead of traditional illustrations and nostalgic ornamentation, the identity explores a bold and contemporary aesthetic.

Deep olive green reflects the product’s natural origins and Mediterranean identity.

Metallic purple brings an unexpected expression of modern luxury, while refined gold typography introduces warmth, elegance and contrast.

The combination creates a distinctive visual signature that balances historical inspiration with contemporary sophistication.

The Art of Making History Tangible

The packaging experience extends beyond its visual identity.

The tactile rhythm of the ribbed glass, the carefully positioned wraparound label and the metallic printing finishes contribute to a sensory relationship between the object and its story.

Every element has a purpose.

The bottle communicates architecture through its form.

The label communicates history through its geometry.

The materials communicate premium quality through their textures and finishes.

Together, they create a coherent brand experience in which the past becomes something that can be seen, touched and held.

Beyond Olive Oil Packaging

STORIA represents an exploration of how cultural heritage can become a powerful source of contemporary brand differentiation.

The project demonstrates that packaging can move beyond its functional role to become an emotional and cultural object.

It is not simply about placing a product inside a beautiful bottle. It is about transforming the bottle into the central expression of the brand’s identity.

Through architectural storytelling, STORIA connects the richness of Tunisia’s Roman heritage with the timeless value of Mediterranean olive oil.

Because great design doesn’t just preserve history. It gives history a new life.
