dzielić vodka comes from Poland, vodka’s birthplace. Distilled six times and made from two local ingredients, this vodka has been a favorite since the 15th century. The name “dzielić,” meaning share, references the Poles vodka drinking tradition, where it’s expected to share your vodka amongst relatives and friends. Decorative folk art is a big part of the Polish culture so I wanted the majority of my design to feel handmade to resemble the handmade craft that most Polish folk art is. The colors and patterns chosen were inspired by Pysanky eggs and the wooden box in which the vodka comes in, references the once traditional gift which was traded amongst local families.

What’s Unique?
The box in which this vodka comes in helps display the high quality of this vodka and highly references the decorative folk art of Polish heritage. It not only presents the vodka as a gift but it can also continue to be used for storage of miscellaneous items, which is exactly what its sole purpose was many years ago. Consumers purchasing this beverage will get a cultural experience by learning the narrative and noticing that both languages of English and Polish are included.
