The Context

Château d’Angelot is a conceptual wine packaging project inspired by the heritage of Bordeaux wines and the elegance of the Pessac-Léognan appellation.

The goal was to create a refined visual identity combining classical references and contemporary packaging design.

The project explores how a wine brand can build a coherent visual universe across label design, gift packaging and retail presentation.

The Design Work

The visual identity is structured around classical cherub illustrations inspired by traditional engravings often associated with historic European wine culture.

The label design remains deliberately minimal to highlight the illustration and typography while maintaining a strong sense of elegance and authenticity.

The project also extends the brand identity beyond the bottle through a premium gift box and a retail display designed for wine shops and promotional environments.

These elements create a cohesive visual system capable of strengthening shelf presence while preserving a refined premium aesthetic.

The Mission

  • Create a visual identity for a fictional Bordeaux wine brand
  • Design a distinctive wine label and bottle presentation
Develop premium gift packaging for retail environments
  • Create promotional visuals and retail display concepts

The Approach

The project follows a direction focused on elegance, heritage and visual clarity.

Rather than relying on complex graphics, the identity is built around a single strong visual element: the cherub illustration.

This approach allows the design to remain timeless while being easily adaptable across packaging, retail display and communication materials.
