CLAP Craft Beer – Mumbai’s Spirit

CLAP was created to capture the vibrant energy, social culture, and contemporary spirit of Mumbai in a bottle. Designed as a fresh and easy-drinking beer, the brand goes beyond the beverage itself to represent a lifestyle centred around connection, celebration, and shared experiences.

The project began with the creation of a distinctive name. “CLAP” was conceived to embody the qualities that define the draft beer experience—freshness, energy, sociability, and spontaneity. Simple, memorable, and expressive, the name became the foundation for a brand designed to feel approachable yet premium.

Building on this foundation, we developed a packaging system that reflects the brand’s modern personality. The visual language balances boldness with simplicity, creating a strong shelf presence while maintaining a clean and sophisticated aesthetic. Every element was carefully considered, from typography and colour choices to material finishes and overall composition.

The design embraces a contemporary minimalism that allows the brand to stand out without relying on excessive visual clutter. Confident typography and a refined visual hierarchy communicate clarity and confidence, while premium production details elevate the overall experience. The result is packaging that feels fresh, social, and effortlessly modern—just like the product it contains.
