What is the concept behind the packaging design?

The packaging design is inspired by traditional Japanese culture and aesthetics. The concept draws from values of precision, balance, respect for materials, and quiet elegance. These principles guide the visual language, combining minimal forms and calm blue tones to reflect harmony between tradition and modern expression.

Solution

We developed a complete branding system, including a custom 3D glass bottle, label design, and visual identity. The design bridges cultural heritage and modern design, creating a tequila brand that feels both timeless and fresh while appealing to a younger, contemporary audience.

The technique used to design the packaging

The packaging was created using a combination of 3D modeling, digital rendering, and illustration. A hand-drawn dragon was incorporated as a key visual element, symbolizing strength, wisdom, and controlled power, and then integrated into the label design to enhance its handcrafted and cultural character.
