Kopparberg saw an opportunity to extend their expertise and knowledge of unique fruit flavour combinations for an exciting pink gin launch. Our challenge was to build on the brand’s strong heritage in cider and shift this credibly into the pink gin category, offering a more mature and sophisticated drinking experience.

THE INSIGHT
We recognised Kopparberg’s expertise in flavour, fun and provenance and combined this with their vision to embrace the outdoors with friends.

THE IDEA
We were inspired by both the brand and the beauty of the small town of Kopparberg – the home of its distillery, neatly settled in acres of nature and wonder. Our idea was to take the consumer on this unexpected journey of the wild & wonderful.

From sunrise to sunset, every aspect of the design has been carefully considered. Drawing inspiration from Kopparberg’s provenance, fruit flavours and their vision to embrace and enjoy the outdoors with friends. This has ensured they can deliver a premium offering, with the brands story at the heart.

THE STORY
To tell a compelling story from sunrise to sunset we take the consumer on a 360 journey starting in the town of Kopparberg through to the forest of fruit and flavour and finished by enjoying the outdoors with friends. All with hidden elements along the way to surprise and delight!

We collaborated with a talented illustrator Marcin Wolski who created a beautifully intricate illustration with depth, hidden detail and high contrast lighting. This has captured Kopparberg’s unique drinking experience, each time its Premium Gin is enjoyed.

THE IMPACT
“Our unexpected gin, infused with strawberry and lime, deserved unexpected packaging and we absolutely love the story that the brand tells through the beautiful label and the journey it takes our consumers on.” – Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing, Kopparberg
