Blue Taste is the first healthy Bistrot inspired by the Blue Zones diet. It’s in Milan, Italy, but will arrive soon in other European cities.

What are Blue Zones? They’re the five areas in the world with the healthiest, longest-living populations: Okinawa (Japan), Loma Linda (California, USA), Nicoya (Costa Rica), Ogliastra (Sardinia, Italy), Icaria (Greece). Residents of the Blue Zones live in very different parts of the world but they have many commonalities that lead to longer, healthier and happier lives. The diet is one of them.

Blue Taste is the place where everybody can try delicious, nourishing and perfectly balanced meals, from breakfast to aperitif, from lunch to Sunday-brunch, and can experience how important a diet is to live a more active and positive life. After defining the positioning for the restaurant format as “Blue Taste: the full life Bistrot”, we worked on a colorful brand identity visually highlighting the five Blue Zones, each represented by five different shapes and colors.

The color blue, used two different tones dark and light, serves as a staple, sometimes taking center stage and at other times stepping back to allow other colors to take the spotlight. Then we add a human touch to the brand id, drawing a character who dialogues with the guests to bring them into his world and approach to life.
