Bariba is a smoked Trout producer from Sarajevo, Bosnia.
Their products are completely natural, but what sets them apart is the drying process. They have two main products: cold smoked trout fillet, and hot smoked trout fillet.
BARIBA cold-smoked trout fillet is prepared at a temperature of up to 30 degrees Celsius, which is the limit for the preservation of nutritional values that ensures superior taste.
BARIBA hot smoked trout fillet is prepared using the hot smoking method at a temperature of up to 70 degrees Celsius.
Their previous branding and packaging did not match the quality of the product itself so the positioning was not adequate which could be seen in the number of sold units per month.
Solution
Since the product falls into a premium category, we had to do a complete rebranding, starting with a logo. Once the logo was finished, we developed a new packaging which was premium at first glance, although the type of material stayed the same, vacuum foil.
Result
Since the implementation, Bariba became the bestselling smoked fish brand in Bosnia, garnerning positive reaction from business partners and customers alike.
