ABOUT OVAL
Chris came to us with a vision to create a New York City coffee brand that offers the highest quality coffee, without sacrificing ethical or sustainable standards. With this, people can enjoy the experience of exceptional coffee, whilst moving towards a kinder world.
Oval offers responsibly sourced coffee in fully sustainable packaging, and this needs to be conveyed in a tangible way to help consumers understand what high-quality, ethical coffee actually means. They wanted a brand and packaging design that felt refined and sophisticated, whilst also clear and approachable.
WHAT WE DID
We created hand-drawn illustrations to communicate key aspects of the brand’s sourcing and production standards. The simple, organic nature of the illustration style gives an approachable, almost playful essence.
We then created a minimal and elegant packaging design, working to give consumers a more pleasurable, sophisticated experience whilst making the coffee.
We included the brand story and key illustrated points on the back, allowing consumers to know the heart of Oval, and feel good about being a part of a greater ethical mission with their conscious purchase.
