Rush is a new-age nicotine brand designed for the discerning modern consumer, someone who seeks a lighter, more mindful experience without compromising on satisfaction. Rooted in the idea of balance, Rush redefines the category by offering a gentler alternative – one that’s approachable, considered, and future-facing.

Yellow was brought in to build the brand from the ground up from positioning and voice to packaging and identity. The goal was clear: break away from the loud, hypermasculine codes of the category and create a softer, smarter, more sensorial world. At the heart of the design is a bold experiment with AI. We used prompts to generate abstract interpretations of euphoria, then handed these over to illustrators to reinterpret through a human lens. This fusion of technology and artistry brought to life a packaging system that feels both precise and poetic.

Each shape on the pack is a visual metaphor, an attempt to make emotion tangible. Textures are used strategically to heighten sensory recall and add a quiet layer of tactility to the experience. Every detail, from the subdued palette to the soft forms, reflects the brand’s nuanced take on power – less about noise, more about intent.

With Rush, we weren’t just creating packaging. We were designing a new kind of nicotine experience, one that speaks softly, but leaves a lasting impression.
