Illustratively designed chocolate bar sleeve and Easter greeting card

Stefanie Twellmann · Illustrative Packaging & Branding

This project presents an Easter-themed sleeve designed for a chocolate bar, created as a thoughtful and visually striking seasonal greeting. The illustration is constructed in a way that it wraps seamlessly around the back of the bar, regardless of the exact width or thickness within a classic chocolate bar format. This ensures a clean, continuous visual experience and makes the design adaptable to different standard sizes without losing its impact.

The motif itself is developed as a vector illustration, enriched with texture and defined by a bold, vibrant color palette. The expressive style creates a strong visual presence and gives the product an emotional, festive character. The sleeve is produced as a downloadable freebie, laid out on a DIN A4 format for easy access and use.

Easter Freebie

This Easter-themed sleeve instantly transforms any chocolate bar into a small, meaningful gift. It fits a variety of standard chocolate bar formats.

Print the design on DIN A4 at 100% scale without margins and fold the paper according to the integrated instructions around the chocolate bar of your choice.

And just like that, you have created a sweet and personal Easter greeting.

Easter Greeting Card

In addition to the sleeve, the illustration was adapted into a postcard format and produced as a printed greeting card. This extension of the design allows the motif to exist beyond packaging and function as a standalone emotional touchpoint.

This project highlights the value of illustrative design in packaging.

Illustration gives both product and brand a unique voice. It communicates emotion, captures attention, and creates a distinct identity that stands out on the shelf.

Using illustration in packaging design opens up opportunities for storytelling, enables clear differentiation between product variants, and builds a stronger emotional connection with the audience. It allows brands to move beyond purely functional packaging and create experiences that resonate on a deeper level.

Illustrative packaging design is not decoration. It directly influences purchasing decisions and shapes how a brand is perceived. It turns an everyday product into something memorable and personal.

I am Stefanie, and I create illustrative design for packaging and brands with personality, emotion, and a clear presence.
