Among the hills of a small village town in the heart of the Teramo province, Frantoio Astolfi is a family-run olive mill that proudly carries on the Abruzzo region’s olive-growing tradition with care and passion.

The company manages around 5,000 olive trees, including both centuries-old groves and newer plantings. The olives are cultivated using traditional farming methods and includes a variety of olive cultivars such as Ascolana Tenera, Tortiglione, Leccino, Carboncella, and many others, focusing on native Abruzzo olive varieties.

Starting from the existing packaging design, my goal was to renew the visual identity, enhancing the premium feeling of Astolfi olive oil. The new palette features distinctive, memorable colors that make the brand instantly recognizable. The label is designed to be more tactile, creating a richer interaction with the product: cuts, paper and a glossy tactile screen printing adds depth to the packaging, focusing on a balance between modernity and tradition.
