Rumyanets

Rumyanets is a cosmetics brand concept inspired by the fairy tale of Snow White and built around a reinterpretation of its visual motifs, characters, and iconic lines. The project explores how familiar cultural archetypes from childhood can serve as the foundation of a contemporary beauty identity, combining fairy-tale storytelling with the aesthetics of the beauty industry.

At the heart of the concept is the image of the magic mirror, one of the key symbols of the original story. It serves as the brand’s primary visual communication element. The sheet mask packaging is designed in the shape of an ornamental mirror, while well-known lines from the fairy tale are adapted to reflect the characteristics of the cosmetic products. Phrases such as “Who is the fairest of them all?”, “You are beautiful, there is no doubt about it!”, and “Mirror, be silent!” become part of the brand’s visual language, creating an emotional connection between the product and the consumer.

The illustration system is based on concise and instantly recognizable character representations. Snow White, the Queen, and the magic mirror are depicted in a simplified graphic style in which key details remain recognizable while facial features are intentionally omitted. This approach allows consumers to project themselves into the fairy-tale narrative and turns interaction with the packaging into a playful form of self-identification.

The serum collection is inspired by the seven dwarfs. Its defining feature is a series of dropper caps styled after the iconic pointed hats of the fairy-tale characters. Color, naming, and graphic details give each product its own personality while maintaining a strong connection to the overarching brand story.

A special place within the collection is occupied by the “Royal Glow” lip balm, designed in the shape of a scepter. This interpretation reimagines a symbol of royal power and transforms a cosmetic product into a fairy-tale artifact.
