CHALLENGE

The challenge was to develop a wine label for Asconi Winery specifically tailored to the African export market.

Entering a new market means more than simply adapting an existing design. The packaging needed to communicate effectively within a different cultural and retail context, attract attention quickly and create a strong visual presence on the shelf.

SOLUTION

We approached Crunch Lunar as a market-focused packaging project, adapting the concept around the visual preferences and commercial environment of its destination market.

The graphic structure was reconsidered, the colour palette refined and the overall composition strengthened through vibrant colours and bold contrasts, creating a label designed for immediate recognition and strong shelf visibility.

CHARACTER & ILLUSTRATION

Illustration plays a central role in the identity of Crunch Lunar, giving the wine an expressive and distinctive personality.

The graphic elements were developed to feel energetic, contemporary and memorable, moving away from conventional wine-label aesthetics and creating a more engaging visual experience.

Together with the bold colour treatment, the illustration becomes a key recognition element and gives the product a character of its own.

VISUAL LANGUAGE

The visual language is built around colour, contrast and expressive illustration.

A dynamic composition creates immediate visual impact, while the graphic hierarchy keeps the label clear and recognizable. Every element was considered in relation to how the bottle would be perceived in its target market — from first impression at shelf distance to closer interaction with the packaging.

The result balances expressive design with the clarity required for an export product entering a new commercial environment.

OUTCOME

Crunch Lunar became a wine label developed not only around the product, but also around the market in which it was intended to compete.

The final packaging combines strong shelf impact, illustration and market-specific visual adaptation into a distinctive export design for Asconi Winery.

Created in Moldova, designed for a different cultural context and ultimately launched on the African market — exactly where the concept was intended to perform.
